SKSF’s 12th Annual Night of Comedy “Boots, Buckles & Chuckles” will be held on Saturday, September 30th, 2023 at Boot Barn Hall . This signature fundraising event with a western theme raises funds for Zach’s Place program supporting families raising children with disabilities. Last year (2022) we raised nearly $98k to support this program & this year we hope to surpass this goal & reach over $100k with the help of community sponsors & donors! What’s included? For $95 per person you’ll receive a chuckwagon style dinner buffet (smoked meats, green beans, mac n cheese, salad, roll, dessert – vegan choices available with dietary restrictions upon request), live DJ music, dancing, photo booths (2), silent auction packages (online), one drink ticket (well wine/beer/soda), cash bar, Zach’s Place video premier, and LIVE comedy performance by ventriloquist Greg Claassen.

ENTERTAINMENT: Greg Claassen can make just about anything talk…and that’s exactly what he’s been doing with his ventriloquist act over the last 30 years. It’s hysterical fun once Greg’s “friends” are unleashed on stage. It’s no wonder his shows are referred to as the most unique after dinner programs in the country. Greg was selected as a National Winner in the “ Bob Hope Search for the Top Comedy Competition” and is also a featured corporate entertainer with regular appearances at Caesars Palace and the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Greg is known for his unusual aptitude for spontaneous humor. Ventriloquism means literally “speaking from the belly” which is where you’ll be laughing from when Greg Claassen leaves the stage.
ENTERTAINMENT: Jean Walton, Founder & CEO from Everyday Girl Adventures has generously donated her 360 photo booth services to our Night of Comedy event! Specializing in curating women empowerment events through their social club and MissFit Networking, they also have a rentable event studio for intimate events, workshops and meetings plus 360 Photo Booth rental services. ENTERTAINMENT: DJ Shield, Owner James Flowers, is a Veteran-owned business. With over two decades in music, DJ Shield has been the DJ for hundreds of weddings, birthdays, and various events throughout Colorado. His top priority is the vibe and providing excitement to events and plays clean music. He has full access to all military installations and is a retired Army veteran. He’s an MC that engages with the crowd and keeps the energy level high. We are so excited to have him join our event. In addition, DJ Shield will be providing a photo booth.

Abbie Burke is an anchor for FOX21 Morning News from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. Monday through Friday. While getting out of bed at 2 a.m. is sometimes difficult, she loves helping southern Colorado start the day off with a smile and all the latest news. Being part of the morning team at FOX21 has always been a dream of Abbie’s and she joined the early crew in September of 2017. Prior to that Abbie worked in a variety of roles for FOX21 News, from intern to editor, to news producer and reporter, and eventually evening anchor. She even tried weather for a few months!
